Fab Finds : sharing well priced fabulous finds for you and your home.
You can buy these wooden letters in plain black or white from Cotton On : Typo. They are a bargain 3 for NZ $12 [or $4.95 each].
They come plain, so I added a few touches to make them suit my decor. My master bedroom has a black/white/grey theme to contrast with the whites and brights of the rest of the home. Refraining from adding colour to these letters was HARD [!], but I managed to pimp them with chevron washi tape around all edges. Then I added big brush strokes of white acrylic paint.
You could of course do a range of things to the letters to suit your decor……
- spray paint any colour
- glue/stick coloured or patterned paper to the surface [best to use spray glue]
- coloured permanent pens [awesome on the white letters]
In my sons room I have the word ‘wow’ in blue….it was his first word, awwww! Here are some more ideas for you……
